WORKSTATION REQUIREMENTS |
- Entry-level Pentium (P4 or up).
- 512MB of RAM. (1GB or higher recommended)
- Hard Disk Drive (Size depends on Operating System Requirements).
- 100mbps network card or equivalent according to your network
architecture; we do not advise making extensive use of a 10mbps
network.
- Mouse.
- Video card capable of at least 1024 x 768 resolution
- Windows operating System
- Windows 2000 or Later Editions

- Tape Backup, CD writer or memory key.

BACKUP STRATEGIES |
- Make full backups daily
- Check that the data have been backed up correctly
- All backups should be clearly labelled and dated
- Avoid making “ad-hoc” backups onto the desktop or the network.
- Do not make backups into Edupac folders
- It is wise to make backups on removable media and keep them off-site.
- Make backups on a five-day rotation basis
